Falls from height book August 1st 2005 In 2003/4, 67 people died and 3884 suffered serious injury by falling from height in the workplace. New Working at Height Regulations, which came into effect in April, are simplified and explained in a new booklet from Scriptographic Publications.
The company says any firm where employees work above ground level will find the booklet useful in reminding workers of the new health and safety rules.
Regulations now extend the requirements previously applied to all work above two metres to activities undertaken at any height. The 16 page booklet advises employees of their responsibilities and on safe practises for working above ground level. Call for free samples. More articles from Scriptographic Publications Limited: |
