New office complex created
April 1st 2007 Excalibur double skin, steel partitioning from Troax UK has been used to create an extensive new office complex at Delphi Electronics and Safety's Liverpool manufacturing facility. Including offices, meeting rooms and storage areas, the new office complex, which measures around 1000m2, is located on the busy factory floor so durability and insulation were important factors in the choice of partitioning system. Excalibur double skin partitioning was specified for the project as it provides a high level of sound and heat insulation, while its powder coated finish is hardwearing and attractive. The panels were supplied in a combination of full steel and single glazed versions. To meet the specific needs of the site, contractor Nixon and Gallagher installed a raised floor to accommodate computer cabling while Troax supplied custom-built doors, wider than the standard design, to allow access for certain types of equipment.
