Speed ramp cuts speed to boost safetyOctober 1st 2008
Vehicle accidents are the second biggest killer in the workplace, according to HSE figures, with approximately 70 people killed and 2000 seriously injured each year.
ROCOL Site Safety Systems believes that by managing the speed and flow of traffic on site, the number of accidents can be reduced. Its Pacer speed ramp can reduce traffic speeds to 5, 10 or 15 mph.
The modular ramps are made from high impact virgin rubber. Black and yellow sections provide a highly visible speed deterrent. Quick and easy to install, the ramps can be relocated as required.
Red or green cat's eyes provide good visibility and directional traffic flow at night to boost safety.
