No need to touch pallets by hand August 1st 2005 According to Premier Pallet Systems, manual handling of pallets is becoming an increasing concern in the workplace. Therefore, the company has developed a transfer device to present the recovered pallet at floor level for exchange and allied it to a range of pallet stacker/dispensers. The whole process takes place without any need to touch the pallet by hand, resulting in reduced injuries, says the company.
The new fully automatic Pallet Changer grips the pallet before reclining the load. The goods are held securely while the pallet returns to floor level to be swapped.
As well as its own heavyduty dispenser, the Premstacker, Premier also markets the Palomat in the UK. More articles from Premier Pallet Systems Ltd: |
