Double-jointed vacuum lifter
February 1st 2007 Fenner Dunlop Conveyor Belting Europe is the latest company to recognise the advantages of ALVac's Two-Joint Swing Arm vacuum lifter. The unit's 'doublejointed swing arm' ensures safe lifting of loads and full rotation through 360° compared to 270°offered by most other machines. At Fenner Dunlop's production plant in Hull, hundreds of 25kg plastic sacks containing raw material are transferred from pallets to hoppers every day. Until recently, this had been a manual operation but the company recognised the need for a simple to operate, wellmade piece of free-standing lifting equipment that would eliminate any risk of injury to its workforce.
