It's the strong arm of the floor

When Solar Petroleum wanted to tackle a health and safety issue and improve productivity at the same time, it found Filling Solution's new 'StrongArm' container did the trick.

The company had been filling each 25 litre container individually to a pre-set weight, with an operator moving it to a pallet, until the pallet of 40 was completed. With the StrongArm now in place, 20 containers can be filled in one operation and the process is then repeated for a second layer of 20.

"We have totally eliminated the lifting of full containers, and increased filling speeds from 60 to 100 containers per hour," says Andy Holland, Solar Petroleum's works manager.

The StrongArm is capable of filling a spectrum of container sizes from 100ml to 1500 litres, and can process bottom fill, high speed top fill and above lid.
