Two-joint vacuum lifter
December 1st 2006 Fenner Dunlop Conveyor Belting Europe is the latest company to recognise the advantages of AL-Vac's Two-Joint Swing Arm vacuum lifter. The unit's 'double-jointed swing arm' ensures safe lifting of loads and full rotation through 360° compared to 270° offered by most other machines. At Fenner Dunlop's production plant in Hull, hundreds of 25kg plastic sacks containing raw material are transferred from pallets to hoppers every day, which until recently had been a manual operation. Vacuum-lifting specialist, AL-Vac, designed its competitively priced floor-mounted two-joint vacuum lifter to be flexible, robust and easy to install. Simple hand controls enable the operator to pick up the 25kg sacks individually, using the unit's powerful vacuum head, and position them over hoppers with great precision.
