February 1st 2007 The Klime-Eze range of mobile safety steps and bespoke ladder systems, available from ladderstore.com, represents affordable and safe solutions to working at height in warehouses and storage facilities. Key to the range is the 'No Access' safety braking system, where the steps are immobilised by a central fail-safe retractor mechanism which acts as a braking system and at the same time forms a NO ACCESS barrier across the steps. Other safety features include all-round pulpit rails and punched metal or anti-slip PVC treads. There is an extensive choice of models, all of which are made to a very high build quality from steel and are fully welded. For heavy-use applications the Industrial, with a 500mm tread width and Extra-Wide at 700mm tread width are ideal for maintenance crews or large item order picking. Areas of restricted access are best met by the Knock-Down models– they have a 500mm tread width and can be assembled on-site. While the Light Weight, Narrow Aisle and Step-Over models are ideal for offices, shops and smaller storage facilities.
