Scafftag's new tagging
system enables companies
that use podiums to display
latest inspection,
maintenance and
identification information at
point of use – helping firms
fulfil their Work at Height
Regulations 2005 obligations.
WAHR 2005 stipulate that all
associated equipment – from
ladders through kick stools
and podiums – whether for
fixed or temporary access,
must be regularly inspected
and their status recorded.
The new Podium Tag uses
a holder and insert system to
show latest status with a
quick reference inspection
checklist of all major
components. When
electronically chipped, the
tags can be used with
Safetrack, an electronic
management tool for
information sharing.
