Raising height awareness
June 1st 2008 The Health and Safety
Executive (HSE) is currently
running a new campaign on
slips, trips and falls in the
workplace called the
'Shattered Lives' campaign. In
support of this programme APlant
has introduced a new
initiative entitled 'Be Safe, Be
Competent, Choose A-Plant.'
In the campaign, A-Plant
is aiming to raise awareness
of the risks involved in
working at height and the
actions that minimise the
dangers of slips, trips and
falls in the workplace.
The campaign promotes
the importance of
competency when working
at height, recognising that
competency is measured by
experience, knowledge and
appropriate qualifications.
A-Plant can provide

work at height and offers a

access equipment and
