Disposable spill kits
April 1st 2007

3M has launched a disposable spill kit that, it claims, removes the need for dustpan, mop and bucket – as it contains everything needed to clear up a spill in one handy box.

Designed to increase the speed and efficiency of clearing up spills and improve safety, 3M says the carry box, which doubles as a dustpan, contains a pair of protective gloves, a specially designed brush for clearing up broken glass and debris and two pieces of 3M Sorbent material that can soak up 1.5 litres of liquid.

When the spill is cleared, the dustpan can be placed into the integral disposable bag, tied and labelled as hazardous if necessary.
