Safety Media's 'Watch your Back' DVD aims to help companies reduce accidents caused by manual handling.

Manual handling injuries affect all types of industry from factories, offices and outdoors to warehouses.

With this in mind the DVD gives the trainer a choice of tailored scenarios in each of these areas, making it easier for the workforce to pick up the straightforward and easy to learn techniques.

DVD covers: how to prevent an injury; how to assess the manual handling task; what factors will affect the task including the load, the environment and individual capability; correct positioning; how to lift and lower the load effectively; and pushing and pulling.
