Detachable picking platform

Services (IDS) has
introduced another type of
picking platform for picking
laminate sheets. The new
Hubtex truck is described
as a 2 man detachable
picking platform. After the
platform has been used for
laminate picking, it can be
removed so the truck can
complete bulk handling of
other materials in the
warehouse.
During the picking
operation, the operator has
full control of the truck at
the pick face as the truck
can only be driven from the
platform. The truck can pick
at heights of up to 8.5m
without compromising
safety as operators are
secured to the platform.
The truck is wire guided
allowing high level picking
in very narrow aisles at a
