Doosan buys Bobcat
August 1st 2007 Broadening its US and
European footprint, Doosan
is to acquire Bobcat for just
under $5bn.
Under the terms of the
deal Doosan will gain
manufacturing sites in
China, the Czech Republic,
France, Ireland and Wales
plus several US facilities.
Completion of the
transaction (expected later
this year) will provide
Korea's largest firm with a
combined network of over
3,700 dealers.
