The number of hand-related lost time incidents in Europe is increasing at a worrying pace. As a leading PPE manufacturer, Kimberly-Clark Professional has responded to this concern by announcing the launch of new general purpose industrial gloves - Kleenguard Purple Nitrile Foam Coated Gloves.

The new gloves are reported to provide excellent grip performance - when both wet and dry - thanks to the Purple Nitrile material on the palm. With an increased level of comfort due to the seamless knitted nylon back, the gloves offer protection against nonacidic liquids, helping to ensure hands remain dry when performing ‘wet’ tasks.

Thanks to their design it is claimed the gloves will also last longer than traditional industrial gloves. They have scored a result of four in the EU abrasion rating scale (EN388).

Suitable for any task requiring a combination of dexterity and grip, they are said to perform very well in logistics and warehousing environments.
