Puncture resistant midsole

Safety footwear specialist Jallatte is providing even higher levels of underfoot protection thanks to the launch of its new Flextane by Jallatte puncture resistant midsole.

Launched at this year's A+A Exhibition, it provides 100% underfoot protection thanks to a new manufacturing process, which sees the sole stitched directly onto the upper.

The new Flextane ballistic fibre midsole is also lighter and more flexible than its predecessor, providing high level comfort for the wearer.

By stitching the midsole directly to the upper, Jallatte has ensured there are no gaps around the perimeter of the midsole, so the sole of the foot is fully covered and protected.

As well as providing high levels of underfoot puncture resistance, it is also 70% lighter than steel and very supple for such a strong material.
