When management at Allied Pickfords realised that crews were climbing in and out of the vehicles without any particular thought to safety, it called on Action Handling to provide a solution.
As a result, to reduce the risk of accidents, the company has introduced strong, yet lightweight, aluminium folding platform steps. Stable in use, these fold flat when not needed. Crews are reported to now be finding their working procedure much safer.
