Not heading for a fall at all
April 1st 2005

Independent manufacturer of Personal Protective Equipment, JSP, has introduced a range of Fall Arrest Equipment to complement its existing range.

New legislation introduced in 2004 requires businesses to carry out risk assessment where there is a risk of injury from falls at any height. Previous legislation required risk assessment at heights of two meters or above.

While falling from height is one of the most common causes of death on construction sites, it is also clearly a high-risk activity in any type of business. It is therefore imperative that the correct safety equipment is used.

The JSP range of fall arrest equipment is designed to cope with a wide range of requirements providing safety, comfort and flexibility, according to the company. JSP says its wide range of Harnesses; Lanyards and Connectors meet and exceed EN standards: They are designed to provide the highest level of fall protection to comply with Personal Protective Equipment Regulations.
