Greener black matting
February 1st 2005

Plastic Extruders says its Flexigrid 2000 high performance black matting is also green: It’s manufactured from 100% recycled factory scrap and is itself recyclable.

Designed to be multitasking, ranging from use as a heavy duty floor covering to external door entrance matting.

Manufactured with an open grid, the PVC is non-porous and aimed at production processes which generate dirt, grime and spillages of oil, liquids or metal debris.

Tthe matting’s extra deep etched surface provides high slip resistance, is comfortable underfoot and will reduce working fatigue, says the company.

Because of its flexibility, Flexigrid will contour over rough or uneven surfaces and can easily be cut and shaped to fit around benches. It is available in 60 and 91 cm widths either in 1.8m modules or in 5m and 10m long rolls, together with optional aluminium edges.
