MasterTug takes the strain April 1st 2005 MasterMover has solved two issues with roll cage movement experienced by Longreach House Psychiatric Hospital.
The hospital had difficulty moving roll cages in confined corridors and also needed to solve the problem of moving cages manually on inclines – an obvious health & safety issue.
However, with the new MasterTug in situ, the risk of injury to staff is now minimised, according to hospital locality manager, Juliette Prouse.
The design of the product was another reason for buying the MasterTug, according to Prouse.”It lets staff manoeuvre cages up and down an incline which has limited access – and its compact size helped overcome our access problem.” One of the main features of the MasterTug is that it can rotate 90° either side of the payload, allowing the conveyance to turn on its axis and manoeuvre with ease, says MasterMover.
