Bibby Distribution's Meir
Park depot continues to
build on its two year
relationship with Owlett
Jaton – supplier of
fasteners, fixings,
ironmongery and
hardware to the UK
distributor and merchant
trade.
"Approximately two
years ago I contacted
Kevin Brennan, General
Manager for Bibby
Distribution with a
proposal for warehousing
500 pallets on a short
term basis, as Jaton was
in the process of building
an extension to its stone
warehouse," says Andy
Gilman, Operations
Development Manager
for Owlett Jaton.
The whole process was
seamless, so Jaton kept
using Bibby Distribution
as its single supplier for
all outside storage needs.
"Currently Jaton has in
excess of 6,000 pallets
stored at Meir Park
Depot," says Gilman. "We
continue to receive the
same high level service
that we experienced from
day one. With the
introduction of anti
dumping duty out of the
Far East and the current
economic climate, I can
see Owlett Jaton
requiring external storage
for a considerable
