Eco-friendly fluid handling solution

New from Schoeller Arca Systems is the Combo Aseptic. A development of the Combo folding IBC, the new container is a bulk packaging solution for distributing products that require aseptic filling and discharging. Aseptic packaging involves filling a sterilised package with a sterile food product within the confines of a hygienic environment.

Filled aseptic packages are sealed tight, rendering a packaged product capable of being stored over long periods of time – at normal room temperatures and without preservatives.

The main feature of the Combo Aseptic is that it uses the Combo folding plastic IBC as its outer packaging and an aseptic plastic liner bag as its inner packaging.

With a capacity of 1000 litres, the liner bag includes an integral filling and discharge valve that ensures aseptic integrity. The liner and valves are gammairradiated to ensure a sterile product fill.

The aseptic system means no corrosion, insects or infestation are carried by the container or its filling and discharging mechanism.

With Combo being made from food quality plastic it adds to the security of the system. Easy to fold and stack, Combo also makes the distribution system more efficient compared to the traditional stainless steel IBC. Combo can also be fully recycled.
