Bulk liquid packaging and handling

In partnership with The Coca-Cola Company, Arca Systems has developed an innovative new packaging and handling system for its soft drink products that is being introduced throughout its European operations.

Based on the Arca Combo bulk liquid handling product, the solution is designed to streamline the delivery process between Coca-Colas European syrup production plants and high volume users of soft drinks.

The Arca Combo carries a flexible liner, which is filled with the syrup. The version for Coca-Cola, christened Megabox, is a 250 litre capacity, half Euro-pallet container, with an 800 x 600mm footprint.

The Megabox containers are designed for use over and over again. Manufactured from food-approved materials, they have smooth internal and external surfaces making them easy to keep clean. Their folding design means they save space on return journeys.
