UV protection in the bag at a lower cost

Automated Packaging Systems has announced an improved UV Protection bag.

The new bags are available at lower cost and claim better imprintability for barcodes. For an improved final pack presentation the bags have a high quality glossy finish.

The co-extruded, multi-layer film offers very good protection against UV. The bags are black on the inside, white on the outside and approved by RAPRA to ISO standards (ISO 105 B02 Colour fastness to artificial light using ISO 105- A03:1993 grey scale assessment chart). Materials for test have exceeded MoD specs.

The company also provides other specialist bags including VCI Anti-Corrosion, Anti-Static and EcoBags. VCI Anti-Corrosion Inhibitor Bags eliminate the need to grease products for storage and protection, or to apply an extra layer of packing.

Bagging time is reduced and the process becomes more environmentally friendly.

EcoBags are made from material recycled from Automated Packaging Systems' own factory waste.
