Excelling at Chivas June 1st 2009
Excel Automation has
completed a contract for
distiller Chivas Brothers, to
install a pallet exchange unit
and associated conveyors at
the company's Paisley plant
in Scotland, where Chivas
Regal, Passport and Long
John brands are bottled.
The new handling and
conveying system for the
despatch area of the North
Bottling Hall at Paisley, was
designed, manufactured and
supplied by Excel to transfer
palletised loads onto
shipping pallets. Also as part
of the contract, Excel
incorporated a stretchwrapper
supplied by Chivas
into the new line and
integrated it with the Excel
designed control system.
The contract was completed
in just over a month.
As well as the Paisley
contract, Excel has recently
completed its fourth phase
of a major refurbishment at
the Chivas Brothers
Palletisation and Automatic
Despatch (PAD) Facility at
Kilmalid near Dumbarton in
Scotland. More articles from Excel Automation Ltd - in Liquidation: |
