 Safe exchange of pallets

SR1P pallet inverter within
the cold storage industry for
exchanging pallets and
removing freezer spacers,
has led to the release of a
version specifically designed
for the warehousing and
distribution markets.
The Pallex machine
enables pallets to be
exchanged at floor level
with a pallet truck without
any lifting of product or
pallets. The machine is used
to change either damaged
pallets or to change pallets
from wood to plastic or vice
versa, for example, for use
in the food and
pharmaceutical industries.
Using the Pallex machine,
product is only tipped
through 90° and is held
within a V-shaped section so
it always comes off the
machine squared up on the
pallet. As the load doesn't
need clamping there is no
risk of crushing delicate
items and there is full access
to the product at all times to
replace any damaged
cartons etc. The operation
and design of the machine
means it doesn't need
