Making life more palatable
February 1st 2007

Aetna UK will be showcasing a selection of Robopac pallet stretchwrapping equipment on stand 20G30 – including the Rotoplat 506 which has proved incredibly popular across a wide scope of industries.

Features include power Pre-Stretch, 4 Programmes and 11 adjustable parameters in conjunction with 'parental control', which means that any type of pallet can be wrapped without the operator having to change the settings. The Rotoplat gives 250% stretch on the film and will save a minimum 50% on film costs compared with conventional machines, whilst improving the pallet stability and reducing packaging waste.

Aetna claims that many customers have paid for the machine from film savings within 12 months of purchase.

Aetna will also use a video screen presentation to demonstrate how to automate pallet movements using Laser Guided Vehicles and will show, for the first time, a revolutionary system that uses operator-less Automated Guided Vehicles for the loading of trailers and trucks.

Also on show will be the Palomat pallet stacker/de stacker, which has been rigorously tested by factory inspection authorities.

When used correctly the benefits of the Palomat stacker/de stacker are significant – including reduced injury risk, minimal handling and reduced pallet damage.

With models available for both manual and automatic change between stacking and destacking, Aetna says the Palomat helps forward thing firms improve their business.
