Appointee to board
April 1st 2009 UPN has appointed Geoff
Allard to its board of
directors. Allard, who began
his working life in the army,
qualified as a Chartered
Certified Accountant (ACCA)
in 2003. In his last role, he
was financial controller with
Road Angel Group, a
developer of GPS based road
safety equipment.
Allard says: "This is a great
opportunity to put my skills
to work in the logistics
sector for a business with
strong development plans. I
will be managing both
finance and IT, which will
make the role more
challenging and interesting.
UPN has a good reputation
in the sector and I am
looking forward to
contributing to its next
