Efficiency and service gains August 1st 2008 B&B Attachments has
recently appointed Alan
Blacklock as service manager.
Blacklock originally worked in
the construction industry,
and was involved in
numerous major projects
including the building of the
Channel Tunnel. He
transferred his skills to the
forklift truck industry when
he joined Finning as service
manager for 13 years, going
on to work with Linde.
As service manager,
Blacklock will be responsible
for overseeing the service
department and its 13 staff.
He will be looking for greater
efficiencies in every sector of
the department including
processes and systems. He
will supervise service
contracts and warranties and
liaise with customers on
technical issues. His
appointment will provide
B&B customers with
improved customer care and
response times. As a first
team member of his local
squash club since 1982, his
own response times are also
finely honed. More articles from B & B Attachments: |
