Meachers teams up with red funnel
August 1st 2010 Meachers Global Logistics has
entered into a strategic partnership
with Red Funnel Distribution, the
Isle of Wight's largest freight
operator.
From July 2010 the 300 to 400
tonne per week new venture between
the two businesses will see Meachers
Global Logistics use its fleet of 75
articulated vehicles to support Red
Funnel's UK customer freight
collections that are bound for the Isle
of Wight.
Gary Whittle, commercial director
at Meachers Global Logistics, says:

service levels and help the company
to drive efficiencies."
John Rayner, Red Funnel's freight
and distribution director, adds:
