New boss at SDI
October 1st 2008 Mike Hilton has been
appointed as Managing
Director of SDI Group UK
where he will be responsible
for all aspects of the
operation including
maintenance, engineering,
sales, installation and
human resources.
Hilton is tasked with
driving growth in major
automated warehouse
projects; targeting new
markets utilising the
company's existing
integration expertise;
building the warehouse
maintenance business; and
being recognised as an
investor in people.
Hilton joins from material
handling systems
manufacturer CRH Group
where he held a number of
positions, most recently
Managing Director of Caljan
Rite Hite UK. Prior to this he
spent ten years at Dexion
Group in several different
senior management roles
including managing director
of Dexion Materials
