Rooney set to score for Combilift
February 1st 2009 Combilift has appointed a
new Product Manager
responsible for Scotland and
Northern Ireland. Anthony
Rooney will be adding
support to current Combilift
dealerships in these areas,
where demand for the
Combilift range of 4-way
handling solutions continues
to defy the current market
situation.
Rooney has been with
Combilift for almost eight
years, half of which were
spent opening up new
markets in the USA.
"Sales in Scotland grew by
over 100% last year, and I
expect this to continue
throughout 2009," he says.
"The oil industry is a buoyant
sector, and our larger trucks
with up to 14 tonne
capacities are particularly
suited for offshore
applications. In Northern
Ireland I have identified
increasing requirements for
the Combilift range in
manufacturing and
engineering sectors."
Rooney has also made
some initial sales of the new
Combi-CB,and feels it has a
bright future: "The Combi-
CB has been specifically
designed for handling a
mixture of long and
palletised loads, so if you
thought that the Combilift
range was not for your
operation, you may need to
