Sensing it's time to separate
December 1st 2008 Mark Weymouth joins Leuze
electronic as managing
director of UK operations
and his first role will be to
separate the company from
its former joint-venture
partner Mayser Polymer.
He believes that by
creating a wholly-owned UK
subsidiary, the company will
be better able to service the
UK market.
Weymouth comes from a
sales-orientated background,
working in a number of
industries where the Leuze
brand of photoelectric
sensors has been improving
safety standards and helping
to increase productivity and
plant efficiency.
He is confident the
organisational changes and
investment being made in
the UK will boost the
company's performance,
enabling it to grow "despite
the doom and gloom that
fills our newspapers at the
