One-way trip pallet pool specialist, IPP Logipal, has secured a new contract with Smurfit Kappa UK, adding another major player to its expanding client portfolio in the packaging sector.With plants throughout the UK, Smurfit Kappa UK is part of Smurfit Kappa Group, a leader in corrugated packaging in both Europe and Latin America.

Looking at how it could reduce costs across its supply chain and at the same time improve the services it offers, the packaging supplier has added IPP Logipal to its pallet solution portfolio.

IPP Logipal's simple one-way trip pallet service is used to deliver a range of corrugated products, from heavy duty packaging to pressready graphical microflute for carton printing, to customers across the UK.

Around 150,000 pallets trips are made per annum.

Once utilised, pallet collections are arranged by IPP Logipal, with inspections carried out matched to KPI (key performance indicator) criteria, ensuring Smurfit Kappa receives consistently high-quality pallets.
