Mini sensor gets measure of distance December 1st 2008 Leuze electronic's ODSL 8
sensor is designed for
applications that demand
the accuracy of precision
optical distance measuring
sensors and where space
may be at a premium.
This variant of the many
Leuze electronic optical
distance measurement
sensors is just 38 x 48 x
15mm, has a resolution of
0.03mm and a range of 25
to 45mm. A small light spot
of 1mm and repeat accuracy
of 0.2% mean the sensor is
suited to various measuring
functions – from small
components to structured
surfaces such as PCBs.
The ODSL 8 has an
analogue current or voltage
output, offering simple linkup
to different evaluation
units and control systems. More articles from Leuze electronic Ltd: |
