For extended, scan intensive shifts August 1st 2009 York-based mobile
computing and data capture
specialist distributor, Varlink,
will offer Janam's XG100 –
the new Windows CE 6.0,
rugged IP64 gun-shaped
mobile computer that scans
barcodes and communicates
wirelessly.
The XG100 was designed
specifically for scan-intensive,
extended shift use in
warehouses, distribution
centres, loading
docks and other
demanding environments. It
is reported to be the only
rugged gun-shaped mobile
computer with its battery
positioned inside the pistol
grip. This lowers the
product's centre of gravity
and makes it light and
balanced in the hand,
maximising worker comfort
and productivity. A vibrating
handle provides feedback in
noisy environments. More articles from Varlink Ltd: |
