OptimusPDA is
little bigger
than a mobile
phone. With a
Microsoft
Windows CE5.0
operating
system, the
OptimusPDA is
suitable for applications
throughout the supply chain
in retail, postal home
delivery as well as industrial
applications.
Based on a powerful Intel
PXA270 520Mhz processor
with 128Mb and 3.5" colour
TFT touchscreen, the
OptimusPDA features a
MiniSD slot for memory
expansion and a powerful Liion
battery pack that lasts for
up to 72 hours on a single
charge. With a durability
rating of IP54 and a 1.5m
drop specification, the
company say the PDA brings
versatility to the harshest of
indoor and outdoor
workplace environments,
being designed specifically
for applications where
temperature varies according
to the season. The unit is
offered with either laser or
CMOS imaging scan engines
for 1D or 2D bar code data
collection and can be
configured with multiple
memory options, ensuring
that the unit can cope with
the most demanding of
applications. The device also
features a two Megapixel
camera and a large backlit
