environments.
The rugged
unit is
compact,
lightweight, designed for a full specification
Windows XP computer, and has ergonomic
features such as an integrated hand strap.
"We found it suited to the needs of field
service applications, as it gives the user the
full capability of a desktop PC and together
with a hand-held scanner, servicing
applications became highly accurate and
productivity increased," says John Wood,
DataScan's mobile account manager.
JLT's range of rugged vehicle mounted PCs
are now also available from DataScan.
Designed for any fixed position in- or onvehicle
use, they are built to withstand rides
over the roughest terrains. Features include
custom built waterproof IP67 housing and a
