Spirit Data Capture has
become a distributor of
handheld ID readers from
the Cognex Corporation.
Cognex – a leading
provider of vision systems,
software and sensors –
has developed the
DataMan range of high
performance Direct Part
Marking (DPM) scanners.
Incorporating Cognex's
ID code-reading
technology, the units can
scan even poorly
produced 2D barcodes
accurately and reliably.
Designed for industrial
use, the rugged readers
are also said to be
compact and ergonomic.
The Dataman family
includes the 7500 Series
and the new 700 Series.
Highly versatile, the
Dataman 7500 Series can
handle everything from
normally printed barcodes
through to the most
challenging DPM marks.
