Terminals have two year warranty

Opticon has announced that its entire range now comes with a full 24 month warranty. While most manufacturers

offer extended warranty terms on simple hand held barcode readers, the industry standard for portable devices has remained at 12 months. This initiative has been taken because we believe that our customers should benefit from the confidence that we have in the reliability of our technology, said a company spokesman.

Opticon is believed to be the first manufacturer to offer a 24 month warranty for portable terminals.
