The end for pen and paper?February 1st 2006
Digital Pen & Paper (DP&P) from i2 Mobile Solutions looks similar to, and shares the properties of its traditional namesakes in a format that embraces upto- the-minute technology.
It enables the uploading of forms, drawings, signatures and other data from remote sites to a host system in real time, without the need for a pen and paper or a handheld computer.
With DP&D the paper has an underlying pattern of dots and the pen, which operates as a ballpoint, also contains a camera. The pen records each stroke along with the date, time and user ID. It has the capability to store several thousand A4 pages of writing.
