Vocollect’s new voice kit June 1st 2005 Voice directed work specialist, Vocollect, has added two new additions to its portfolio – the Talkman T2x wearable voice computer and VocollectVoiceT client software.
The Talkman T2x uses a new Intel chip to double the processing speed of its predecessor, expand memory capacity and provide voice application performance advantages not found in other devices, according to Vocollect. It also has almost 12 hours battery life before it needs recharging.
Compatible with all existing Talkman accessories, the T2x can be deployed as part of older voice-directed distribution implementations that use previous Talkman models.
Along with the release of the T2x, Vocollect also launched Vocollect Voice – which makes it possible for voice-capable handheld devices to run Vocollect’s industrial voice recognition technology where parttime voice applications deliver improved accuracy and productivity benefits over typical screen and keyboard based applications.
This means the same applications that run on the Talkman units can now be added to other select devices – i.e Symbol and LXE products at present. More articles from Strategic Alliance International Ltd: |
