has announced that it
has been appointed as an
authorised distributor for
the Glacier range of
rugged, industrial
computers. This latest
addition to the
Lamerholm portfolio
complements its existing
ShockWatch range of
products for vehicle and
equipment control and
monitoring. The Glacier
computers have been
specifically designed to
be durable whether
mounted on a forklift
truck, on the shopfloor or
in field service. Using
proven PC architecture,
multiple standard I/O and
industry standard wired
and wireless connectivity,
the systems can easily be
fitted into existing
networks. A wide range
of accessories is available
including handhelds,
tablets, laptops and
scanners. "Within the
warehouse and logistics
industry, companies are
continuing to implement
and expand their
management information
systems to further
streamline operations
and increase
productivity," says Ed
Elliot, sales engineer for
the ShockWatch range.
