Stand success at CeMAT

success from CeMAT 2008.
The company exhibited a
range of products, providing
experienced sales engineers
on the stand to assist
visitors. "A large number of
decision makers attend
CeMAT, so it is an excellent
way to meet potential
customers," says Kluas
Michael Buecher, director of
sales and marketing. "We
demonstrated VIPAC, our
camera-based automated
parcel identification system,
throughout the exhibition –
the visitor response was
enormous!"
VIPAC is a modular system
that operates over sorters
and high-speed conveyors. It
captures high-resolution
images of parcel labels with
high-speed, auto-focus, linescan
cameras. It identifies
them using Vitronic
software, algorithms for
barcodes and OCR
