Advanced printing without computer
August 1st 2010 The H Series label printers from
Weyfringe promises flexibility akin to
using a label printer with a computer.
For example, the label printer allows
best before/use by date calculations,
serial numbering and date/lot coding
to be carried out without a computer
attached.
The attraction of running label
printers without PCs was previously
countered by the computing
restrictions of the printers, requiring
an excess of error prone manual data
entry. The alternative involved the
added cost of equipping multiple
areas with computers, adding
substantially to the labelling overhead.
Weyfringe says the H-Series has
