Compact label printer for use in the logistics sector October 1st 2008 Sato UK has launched the
the new generation CT4i
compact label printer. The
small footprint, fast
throughput (up to 150mm/s
at 203 dpi), high-resolution
printing and
robust
construction are
claimed to make
it ideal for use in
the logistics
sector where, in
addition to
desktop use, it is
small enough to
be fixed to a
forklift.
The printer's restyled antimicrobial
cover – effective in
preventing the growth and
spread of bacteria and
microbes – is an added
benefit for sensitive
environments such as food
and healthcare.
The CT4i features quick
change platens, tool-less
printhead change and easy
loading of ribbon and labels.
A USB with either LAN or
RS232C serial communication
interface are
standard, with the additional
option of a plug-in interface
enabling IEEE Parallel,
wireless or Bluetooth
connectivity.
The CT4i series printer is
also claimed to be the first
compact printer on the
market designed for RFID
capability from the outset. It
is engineered to be robust
and reliable for small to
medium sized label runs. More articles from Sato UK Limited: |
