High res, low cost
April 1st 2007 Citizen Systems Europe has launched a new high performance label printer, which has been developed to deliver fast throughput of labels at 4ips at a resolution of 300dpi. Called the CLP- 631, the unit is designed to be used either standalone or networked. Simple to setup and use, it is said to cost around 10% less than competing machines. Suited to producing small labels containing a large amount of complex data used inside mobile phones or on pharmaceutical packs, the printer is also good for printing rating plates and other small labels where graphics and logos are regularly used, such as CE logos or WEEE wheelie bin icons. 2D barcoding is also fully supported.
