High volume compact printers
October 1st 2005 Maxatec has announced a new partnership agreement to distribute Imaje’s high volume Compact direct thermal and Nova thermal transfer label printers.
The Compact series is, as the name suggests, suitable for use in restricted spaces, providing high volume and ondemand printing of labels, tickets and tags.
Offering easy integration with mainframe/ERP systems, the units offer PC-free printing to cut costs and increase production uptime.
The web server and built-in set-up program eliminate operator adjustments, while a wide range of flexible options mean the printers can be specified to exactly match the individual application. It is also possible to control and communicate with peripherals such as scales and conveyor sensors directly from the printer.
The all-metal construction of the Compact series is complemented by the smallest footprint in its class. Suitable for truck, tower or wall mounted installation, the printers feature a straight paper path for quick and easy label loading without having to be opened. Print speeds are up to 125mm/sec.
