Label waste reduced by up to 40%
June 1st 2006

The versatile Panther LS8 hand-held thermal transfer printer from Panduit features cut-to-length functionality which is claimed to eliminate trimming and reduce label waste by up to 40%.

A printer for all labelling applications, the LS8 has an intelligent cassette system which reduces set up time and a partial cut feature to provide tear-apart strips of labels for quicker installation.

The Panther LS8 prints high quality, industrial labels on a wide variety of materials for electrical and network applications such as wire/cable, component, safety and facility identification. It uses label cassettes that contain an integrated memory device for automatic formatting, recall of last legend used and number of labels remaining on cassette display. The fast loading label cassettes include both label material and ribbon to make changing labels easy.

Compact and rugged, the Panther is easy to use and fits comfortably in the hand.

The large, backlit display makes it suitable for printing labels at a remote site. The USB interface allows data importing, system upgrades and printing labels from a laptop or desktop PC.
