Large character ink jet printers

Videojet Technologies has launched the new Marsh 1100 and Marsh 3100 large character ink jet printers.

Able to print 17mm or 70mm high, these printers have been designed to deliver the best performance and sustainable print quality with minimum maintenance and downtime.

Offering reliable online printing on to corrugated cases and trays, the printers feature a patented automatic self-cleaning system for high, repeatable print quality across many types of environment. This operates every time the system prints so printheads remain virtually clear of dust and debris throughout production. It also eliminates depriming caused by vibration, which usually manifests itself as a 'missing dot'.

The Marsh 1100 and 3100 self-maintaining printhead mechanism is reported to eliminate the wasted ink and downtime caused by the regular priming, purging and cleaning essential on other ink jet printers.

Ink delivery is simple and clean using sealed, nonpressurised containers. The user interface displays ink use and clear warnings when ink is running low. New ink can be added without stopping production.

The intuitive touch screen interface provides a simple and secure means to change images in seconds.
